Angelica R. Miller

I moved here in August 2011 and graduated from Prescott College with my B.A. in Social Justice Education with my concentration in Holistic Community Development and a minor in Chicana Studies. I am also currently enrolled in a distance graduate program through Maryland University of Integrative Health and am scheduled to graduate July 2017.

Much of my personal and career experience has been in both the education and religion fields. As an educator, I have developed and implemented experiential learning-based curriculum primarily for inner-city, low-income schools and programs. In religion, I was highly involved in Youth Group (both as a student and later as a Youth Leader) and became a minister for our Young Adult Ministry, The Dwelling. During my time with the church that I organized service-based activities, successful fundraisers, religious retreats/gatherings, and was involved in many other church-oriented events.

I am a proud multi-ethnic Pagan who is happily married to my mountain man husband (Brian) and am glad to share my life with my step-daughter (Cassidy) and our two rescue dogs (Orion and Keira). During my spare time you are likely to find me outside in my garden, hiking or rock climbing, or inside with my nose in a book or buried in an art project.

There is no way to explain just how thrilled I am to be part of GPUUC and how excited I am to implement and expand the Faith Development Program in ways that are innovative, inclusive, illuminating and inspiring!

Love and Light.
